Maggie + Matthew Engagement Session

Every session is special- but this session in particular is so near and dear to me.

When I was in undergrad, I had the pleasure of meeting a young gent from El Paso named Matthew. He was a year younger than me but we ran in the same circles and would run into each other from time to time. I wouldn't say we were by any means 'close' but he was so kind and it was always so lovely to chat with him. After graduation, we lost touch (as you so often do) with acquaintances and unfortunately, Matthew was one of those friends.

But, you just never know where life is going to take you or who the universe is going to bring into your life. Fast forward 5 years and through a series of seemingly unrelated incidences, who do I meet on a first date? None other than Matthew's older BROTHER! Because sometimes life is just magical like that.

So here we are, 2+ years later, and this lovely acquaintance from college has become family and his betrothed, Maggie, has become one of my best friends- the universe is a wonderful thing.

Evan and I are the luckiest to get to experience so many incredible life events with you guys and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives figuring out this whole 'adulting' thing together. Cheers, love birds ❤️
