Happy Birthday Baby Girl Taylor!

It's hard to believe it's been a whole YEAR since I witnessed my first birth! This time last year I was only a few months into training to be a doula and had just started volunteering with Giving Austin Labor Support (GALS). Desiring more than anything to attend a birth, the Taylor family was kind enough to let me observe and photograph the birth of their second baby on this day last year!

Mama Katie was a freaking goddess through her whole labor and Papa Preston was right there by her side. Sweet Cameron rocked my world and needless to say, baby girl has forever changed my life. I left the hospital that evening completely in tears knowing this is exactly what I was meant to be doing.

Thank you Taylor family for showing me what a 'dream job' is made of!!!! I'll be celebrating this day with you until I am old and grey ❤️
